WEEK'S SCHEDULE (20), FEB. 11, 2013
EYE-OPENER OF THE WEEK: After lunch nap awhile; after dinner walk a mile.
KEY DATES:
1. On Monday, Feb. 11, either Mike or Jordan will speak to us about kicking off the competition among the sensor companies.
2. On Thursday, Feb. 28, Glenn Weinstein will speak to us about the municipal bond market.
3. On Wednesday, March 6, Steve Kaplan will talk to us about income inequality and CEO pay.
CLASS ONE: Either Mike or Jordan will kick off the sensor competition for us. We will then use the rest of the class to meet in our groups. Also, those of you who have not taken the online survey can use this time to do so. HOMEWORK: prepare for a test on chapter 7 in Colander and an essay question based on chapter 7 in Wheelan.
CLASS TWO: TEST on chapters 7 in Colander and Wheelan. HOMEWORK: Please read chapter 8 on Measuring the Aggregate Economy in Colander.
CLASS THREE: we will discuss the reading. HOMEWORK: period 3, read chapter 9 in Colander for Monday. Period 6, read the first half of chapter 9 for Thursday(up to The Production Function and Theories of Growth) and the rest of the chapter for Monday.
CLASS FOUR( for period 6 only): we will discuss the reading.
